Job Title: Forklift/Heavy Machine Operator Location: Lockport, IL Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Pay Rate: $20/hour
Summary We are seeking experienced forklift/heavy machine operators to join our team in Lockport. The main function of this role is to safely operate industrial trucks or machinery in a warehouse, storage yard, factory, construction site, or similar environment. Operators are responsible for moving product loads efficiently and accurately throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities

Review product loads for accuracy and ensure timely, complete delivery

Operate reach trucks and stand-up forklifts safely and effectively

Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment (cleaning, lubricating, fueling)

Weigh materials or products and record production data on tags or labels

Signal workers to discharge, dump, or level materials

Ability to operate reach truck and stand-up forklifts

Strong verbal communication skills and attention to detail

Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control techniques
Education & Safety Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required

Steel toe shoes required

Forklift operator’s license required

8–10 years of manufacturing experience required
