Forklift Operator – 2nd Shift

Pay: $20.50/hour
Assignment Length: Through July 1, 2027
Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (2nd Shift)

A leading manufacturing company in Channahon is seeking reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operators to join its growing 2nd-shift team. Schedule & Overtime Expectations
- Standard schedule begins on 2nd Shift (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM)
- As the season ramps up, employees should expect mandatory overtime
- Schedule may increase to five 10-hour shifts per week
- Additional work on Saturdays will be required based on production needs
- Reliable attendance and schedule flexibility are essential for success in this role
Job Duties
- Operate single and double forklifts (ability to move two pallets at once preferred)
- Work outdoors in the yard and loading areas
- Pull pallets from the palletizer and transport them to designated storage areas
- Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently
- Maintain product flow throughout the facility
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Keep work areas clean and organized
Requirements
- Previous forklift experience required (single/double forklift experience preferred)
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to work mandatory overtime, including extended shifts and Saturdays
- Strong attention to safety and operating procedures
- Reliable transportation and attendance
Pre-Employment Requirements
- Must pass a 4-panel drug screen (No THC testing)
- Must pass a 7-year background check
