Now Hiring: Production Assistant - CNC Blades – 2nd Shift (Temp-to-Hire)

We are seeking skilled Production Assistants to join our 2nd shift team (Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 11:30 PM). This is a hands-on, skilled role ideal for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude, technical experience, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production equipment with minimal supervision
• Troubleshoot machinery and resolve operational issues as they arise
• Read and interpret work orders and blueprints to ensure quality standards are met
• Use precision measuring tools, including calipers, measuring tape, and angle finders (millimeter measurements)
• Operate material handling equipment and overhead cranes
• Load and unload raw materials and finished goods
• Perform light machine maintenance as needed
• Maintain accurate ERP records
• Communicate effectively during shift handoffs and report production issues

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma required; technical training or Associate’s degree preferred
• 2–5 years of manufacturing or production experience
• Must have experience setting up machinery and troubleshooting equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Proficiency with measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, angle finders)
• Strong understanding of shop math (trigonometry a plus)
• Experience with cutting, laser, or bending equipment preferred
• English comprehension required for safety and communication
• Spanish-speaking resources available onsite
• This is a skilled role – not general labor

Work Conditions

• Physically demanding: standing, bending, lifting up to 60 lbs.
• Exposure to noise, vibration, and varying temperatures
• PPE provided: high-visibility vest, steel-toe boots with metatarsal guards, prescription safety glasses
• Locker rooms and company-paid uniforms provided upon hire
• No cell phones permitted on the shop floor

Pre-Employment Requirements

• 4-panel rapid drug test (No THC for pre-employment; tested post-accident)
• 7-year, all-county criminal background check
• Must wear steel-toe boots with metatarsal guards
