General Labor – 2nd Shift (Cold Production Environment) -Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM
Training Schedule: Must be available to train on 1st Shift (7:00 AM–3:30 PM) for 30–60 days
Hours: 35–50 hours per week

Job Summary
We are hiring dependable General Labor Associates for a temp-to-hire opportunity with a growing production facility. This position operates on 2nd shift and requires training on 1st shift for 30–60 days. Candidates must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work in a cold assembly-line environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Follow all company safety policies, GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), and client guidelines.
- Notify team leads immediately of any out-of-specification product or quality issues.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Requisition materials as needed to support production.
- Operate production and packaging equipment, including:
- Case Erectors
- Case Packers
- Case Sealers
- Hand-pack bagged products according to quality and production standards.
- Verify product quality, packaging integrity, and accuracy.
- Work efficiently to meet production goals while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications
- Basic English communication skills required.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
- Previous manufacturing or production experience is helpful but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 13 hours when required.
- Frequent walking, bending, reaching, and other physical activities.
- Ability to work in temperature conditions ranging from -30°F to 176°F, where applicable.
- Comfortable working in a cold assembly-line environment.
- Ability to handle moderate physical activity, including continuous standing for 10–13 hours.
Requirements
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Must pass a 7-year criminal background check.
- Must be available to train on 1st shift (7:00 AM–3:30 PM) for 30–60 days before moving to 2nd shift.
