We are seeking a Fleet Maintenance Service Advisor to join our growing team in New Lenox. This is a fast-paced position ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, communicating with customers, and supporting fleet operations. If you have mechanical knowledge of semi-trucks and enjoy coordinating repairs and maintenance solutions, we'd like to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming service and maintenance calls from fleet customers.
• Gather information and identify potential issues with semi-trucks and fleet equipment.
• Coordinate with technicians and dispatch personnel to determine the best course of action.
• Communicate repair recommendations, service updates, and resolutions to customers.
• Create and update service records using computer systems and software.
• Prioritize multiple service requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist in scheduling maintenance and repair services.
• Maintain strong customer relationships through professional and timely communication.
• Work closely with the shop team to ensure efficient service delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a service advisor, fleet maintenance, dispatch, trucking, or related role preferred.
• Strong understanding of semi-truck systems and common mechanical issues.
• Comfortable speaking on the phone throughout the day.
• Proficient with computers and data entry.
• Ability to troubleshoot and gather information to help identify maintenance concerns.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
