Job Overview
We are seeking dependable and hardworking General Labor Technicians to support an OP Cart Retrofit Project at a facility located inside an Amazon site in Channahon, IL. This position is with a subcontractor and is not employment with Amazon. Technicians will refurbish warehouse carts by replacing and installing various components to meet updated operational standards.
Job Responsibilities
Technicians will perform tasks including:
- Replacing handles and side frames
- Replacing braking systems
- Installing forklift tabs
- Replacing casters (wheels)
- Installing new netting
- Applying barcode stickers
- Removing and disposing of project materials and waste
- Completing additional tasks as directed by the supervisor

- Field service
- Assembly
- Maintenance
- Warehouse operations
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
- Reliability and strong attendance
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor

- Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools and power drills
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
Requirements
- Background check required
- Drug screen required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently
- Ability to stand, bend, squat, and work in a physically demanding environment throughout the shift
- Ability to work 8-hour shifts and overtime as needed
Safety Equipment
- Safety shoes or work boots are required
- Client will provide:
- Safety vest
- Tools and equipment needed for the project
