A family-owned Rockdale manufacturer is seeking motivated Industrial Maintenance Technicians to join their growing team on 3rd shift. Shift:
- 3rd Shift: 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM
Job Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and complete repairs as needed
- Assist with continuous improvement projects to reduce equipment downtime
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Work independently and as part of a maintenance team
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintenance protocols
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
Work Environment
This is a hands-on industrial maintenance role in a manufacturing setting. Candidates must be comfortable:
- Working around machinery and production equipment
- Standing, walking, climbing, crouching, kneeling, and performing physical labor
- Lifting 50+ lbs occasionally
- Working in hot and cold temperatures
- Working in a greasy environment with strong odors
Qualifications
Required:
- 1+ years of mechanical maintenance experience OR trade school training
- Basic troubleshooting and repair skills
- Ability to work safely in an industrial environment
Preferred:
- High school diploma or GED
- Technical or trade school certification
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
