We're looking for dependable and motivated Inventory Associates to join a growing team that specializes in inventory management projects throughout the Chicagoland area. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy staying active, working independently, and traveling to different job sites.
Pay
- Starting at $18.00 per hour
- 30-day performance review with opportunities for wage increases
- Annual performance reviews and advancement opportunities
- Employees are paid their hourly rate for commute time beyond the first hour of travel each way
- Mileage assistance of up to $200 per month for full-time employees
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Optional weekend work available for those seeking additional hours
- Start times typically between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM
- Most shifts conclude by 3:00 PM
- Average of 36+ hours per week
- Daily shifts typically range from 6-8 hours depending on project location
Key Responsibilities
- Use handheld barcode scanners to conduct inventory counts
- Accurately scan and track products, materials, and merchandise
- Verify inventory quantities and report discrepancies
- Travel to customer locations throughout the Chicagoland area
- Maintain accuracy while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Follow company procedures and safety guidelines
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable using handheld scanning devices
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Dependable attendance and reliability are essential
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the workday
