4 days on/4 days off schedule - 8PM-8AM shift - $21/hr

Role Summary

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Utility Technician to join our team. 

This role is responsible for the routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of facility utilities to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. 

The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver capable of handling various manual tasks and technical inspections.


Key Responsibilities

  • Utility Inspections: Conduct regular checks on facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and water systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and extend the lifespan of facility assets.
  • General Repairs: Execute minor repairs such as replacing light fixtures, fixing leaks, and basic carpentry or painting tasks.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all utility operations comply with health and safety regulations; report any hazards or malfunctions immediately.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage the inventory of tools, spare parts, and maintenance supplies.
  • Ad-hoc Tasks: Assist with office relocations, furniture assembly, and other general facility support tasks as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Technical certification in electricity, plumbing, or HVAC is a plus).
  • Experience: Proven experience in facility maintenance, utility management, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools; basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various environments (indoors/outdoors).
  • Soft Skills: Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in a manufacturing or large-scale warehouse environment.
  • Basic computer skills for logging maintenance reports.
  • Relevant safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, Fire Safety).
