Purchasing Administrative Assistant
Our client in the Lincolnshire area is seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual who wants to be a part of a growing company within the automotive manufacturing industry. Position Highlights:
- Onsite in Lincolnshire, IL
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM
- Temp to Hire
- Pay: $18-21/hr+, based on experience

Position Responsibilities:
- Purchasing Support:
- Assist with creating, confirming, and tracking purchase orders
- Communicate with vendors to confirm order details and delivery timelines
- Maintain accurate records of supplier information and product pricing
- Help monitor inventory levels and reorder points by analyzing sales forecasts and historical usage
- Support the Purchasing Manager with reporting and documentation
- Accounting Support:
- Process and file vendor invoices and match them with purchase orders
- Assist with data entry for accounts payable and receivable
- Help reconcile statements and resolve discrepancies with vendors and customers
- Maintain organized digital and physical records of financial documents
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- General Administrative Duties:
- Answer phones and respond to emails related to Purchasing and Accounting
- Maintain spreadsheets, databases, and filing systems.
- Assist with internal audits and compliance documentation.
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the team.
Ideal Candidate:
- 1–3 years of experience in an administrative, purchasing, or accounting support role.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a distribution or warehouse setting is a plus
- Comfortable working with numbers and financial data.
