Administrative & Customer Service Coordinator

Location: Waukegan, IL
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (Onsite)
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $21–$25/hr (based on experience) 

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative & Customer Service Coordinator to serve as the central communication point between our on-site warehouse operations and our remote corporate team. This is an essential role focused on ensuring customer orders are processed accurately, inventory is well-managed, and communication across all teams remains smooth and professional.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison between warehouse staff and corporate departments

  • Resolve customer order issues and troubleshoot discrepancies related to quantities, dates, or inventory

  • Handle inventory control, reconciliation, and discrepancy resolution

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels—internal and external

  • Coordinate with carriers and troubleshoot shipping/logistics issues

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • 2–5 years of administrative experience in a warehouse or operations-focused setting

  • Familiarity with supply chain, inventory control, or operational workflows

  • Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

  • CRM experience preferred

  • A high degree of initiative, a positive mindset, and the ability to work independently

  • Strong virtual communication habits and comfort working with limited onsite supervision
