Express Employment Professionals of Libertyville is seeking a Field Service Technician for their client located in the Vernon Hills area. Work for a company within the medical supplier industry that has been in business for over 25+ years and continues to grow!

- This role is a hybrid of on-site and travel work. Travel territory includes locations within Illinois (primarily the Chicagoland area).
- Standard schedule of Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm (this may vary depending on travel and customer locations).

Duties of a Field Service Technician:
- Traveling to customer locations to perform preventative maintenance, repairs, equipment installations and provide support to new customers.
- Performing diagnostic analysis, repair, and service on medical machinery and related equipment
- Documenting findings and estimating required repairs
- Testing machinery
- Communicating with team members through email, phone, and dispatch software
- Refurbishing medical machinery from the part level according to step by step instructions
Requirements of a Field Service Technician:
- Prior experience as a Field Service Technician or Field Service Engineer (background working in hospitals and healthcare facilities is a plus!)
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical background- experience disassembling/reassembling and repairing equipment and components
- Strong communication skills and high attention to detail
- Able to read and understand written instructions and technical diagrams
- Computer Skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
