Job Description:
A local lighting company is seeking skilled and motivated Assembly Technicians to join our growing team in Libertyville. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity on the first shift, ideal for individuals who are mechanically and/or electronically inclined and thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform precise and detailed assembly of lighting components
- Use hand tools and small power tools to assemble parts
- Follow work instructions and quality standards
- Stand for the duration of the shift
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of assembly experience (mechanical or electronic preferred)
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for the entire shift
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
