Financial Advisor – Lead Planner / Service Advisor
Pay: $120,000 – $150,000 per year
Location: Buffalo Grove, IL (In-person)

Well-established wealth management firm serving the Buffalo Grove & Chicago area for 20+ years, managing $350M in assets for 700 families.
Role Overview:
As a Lead Planner / Service Advisor, you’ll provide comprehensive financial planning and maintain strong client relationships within our team-based structure. This is primarily a non-sales role focused on client service, though opportunities for additional asset growth exist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary contact for assigned clients
- Develop financial and retirement income plans
- Prepare investment summaries, tax strategies, and insurance illustrations
- Conduct client meetings and reviews
- Collaborate with advisors and team members
- Utilize proprietary planning software for analysis and reporting
Requirements:
- 3+ years as a Financial Planner
- Series 65 or 66 license (required)
- CFP® preferred (or obtain within 2 years)
- Life Insurance license (or obtain within 6 months)
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong Excel skills, detail-oriented, relationship-focused

Schedule:
Mon–Thu: 8:45 am – 5:00 pm
Fri: 8:45 am – 2:30 pm (with paid lunch)
