Office Administrator
Location: Lake Forest, IL (On-site)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire / Evaluation-to-Hire
Compensation: $28/hour (≈ $60,000 annually)

They are seeking a professional, organized, and reliable Office Administrator to support daily operations and help ensure the office runs smoothly.
Position Overview: The Office Administrator will serve as the central support for the President and leadership team, providing administrative coordination, maintaining office organization, supporting basic HR functions, and helping keep employees and workflows on track. This person will be the professional, dependable presence in the office whom the team can count on.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative & Office Support
• Serve as the primary administrative support for the President and leadership team.
• Maintain daily and yearly calendars, ensuring important deadlines, reminders, and PTO are tracked.
• Maintain a clean, presentable, and organized office environment, including the front desk and common areas.
• Order and manage office supplies, equipment, and inventory.
• Greet visitors and act as a professional point of contact for employees, clients, and vendors.
• Assist with filing, document preparation, scanning, and general clerical tasks.
HR & Payroll Support
• Provide basic HR support, including assisting employees with W-2, benefits, or payroll questions.
• Help track employee time-off requests, PTO balances, and attendance sheets.
• Ensure onboarding paperwork and personnel documents are organized and updated.
• Serve as a resource for employees needing general administrative assistance.
Operational Coordination
• Help the leadership team stay on schedule and aligned with priorities.
• Support internal communications and ensure reminders or follow-ups are completed.
• Assist with small office projects, organization tasks, and workflow improvements.
• Act as a reliable, consistent presence in the office who helps keep everyone on track.
Qualifications
• Previous experience in office administration or administrative support required.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to multitask, stay proactive, and anticipate needs.
• Comfortable supporting leadership and interacting with employees at all levels.
• Reliable, friendly, and professional demeanor
