Account Manager 

• Location in central Lake County 
• Base salary range: $45,000–$55,000. Total package around $62-78K with bonus and commission.
• On-site position; remote or hybrid work not available
• Direct Hire position 

We are seeking an Account Manager to support professional equipment sales for a well-established manufacturing organization. This role focuses on selling specialty equipment solutions to contractors.

The Account Manager will manage customer relationships, prepare quotes and proposals, confirm product specifications, process orders, and identify opportunities to grow existing accounts. This position is ideal for someone with technical or mechanical sales experience who enjoys working closely with contractors and skilled-trade professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries and provide product guidance
• Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
• Prepare quotes, proposals, and order documentation
• Manage customer activity within CRM systems
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities
• Support the full sales cycle from initial contact through closing

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales experience in industrial, mechanical, or contractor-focused environments
• Experience using CRM systems
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort discussing technical details
• Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree or relevant trade experience preferred
