Screen Print Operator – Job Description

Position Overview

The Screen Print Operator supports the full screen-printing production process, including preparing screens, assisting press operators, inspecting finished products, and moving materials throughout the facility. This role ensures high-quality output while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work area.

Key Responsibilities

• Review work orders and set up the workstation for multi-color printing jobs.
• Assist press operators with loading materials, applying ink, swapping squeegees, and prepping items for decoration.
• Operate equipment used to coat, reclaim, image, and develop screens.
• Inspect printed garments to ensure they meet quality standards and customer requirements.
• Move materials throughout the facility using a pallet jack and RF scanner.
• Maintain a clean work area and perform routine cleaning of equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.
• Perform additional production-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of screen-printing, production, or machine-operating experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and learn processes quickly.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to differentiate and coordinate colors.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment.
• Good attendance and strong work ethic.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Regular repetitive motions.
• Must be able to lift 15–35 lbs consistently.
• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
