Inventory Operator / Order Picker (Cherry Picker Forklift)

Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Inventory Operator / Order Picker to join a growing warehouse team in Waukegan, IL. This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy working in a fast-paced distribution environment and are looking for consistent overtime opportunities. The Inventory Operator will be responsible for accurately picking tire orders throughout the warehouse using RF scanners and operating a Cherry Picker/Order Picker forklift. Candidates must be punctual, safety-conscious, and willing to work overtime on a regular basis.
Responsibilities
- Operate a Cherry Picker/Order Picker forklift safely and efficiently
- Pick tire orders throughout warehouse aisles
- Use RF scanners to locate, verify, and process inventory
- Accurately select and stage orders for shipment
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines
- Maintain an organized and clean work area
- Assist with inventory movement and other warehouse duties as assigned
- Meet productivity and attendance expectations
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of Cherry Picker/Order Picker forklift experience required
- Experience using RF scanners preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively
- Ability to work on your feet throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are required
- Must be willing to work consistent overtime
Monday-Friday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Saturday (as needed): 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM, or 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Average Hours: Approximately 53 hours per week
Overtime: Required
Breaks
- Two paid 15-minute breaks
- One unpaid 30-minute lunch
Dress Code & PPE
- Shorts are permitted
- Work boots are required (steel-toe boots are acceptable)
- Employer provides: Safety vest, Gloves, Face mask
