2ND SHIFT / 3PM - 3AM - FRIDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY

 

will train on 1st shift for approximately week 5am-1pm Mon-Fri

 

POSITION SUMMARY: 

Sort and/or assemble product in the Inspection Department.  Position reports to Inspection Supervisor and/or Group Leader. 

 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

• • Ensure that all work activities are performed in accordance with established environmental, health, safety, quality and compliance standards.
  • Ensure continual improvement in all areas of operation through employee development and involvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and county environmental laws, regulations and standards
  • Implement lean manufacturing concepts including continuous improvement and housekeeping procedures.
  • Maintain and follow all TS-16949 and ISO 14001 procedures that are applicable to this position.
  • Sorter: Remove defective parts accurately and efficiently from orders per instructions or samples.
  • Assembler: Assemble parts with correct components with set efficiency standards.
  • Sorter/Assembler: Maintain lot control on all parts and components.  Correctly fill out all required paperwork per assignments. Keeps work area clean and orderly.
  • Water Spider: Responsible for ensuring machine operators maintain optimum feed rate and production, and quality objectives.  This may include making cartons, moving cartons, completing required documentation to ensure lot integrity.  Mobile equipment experience a plus.
  • All Positions: additional responsibilities may be required; i.e., label making, label boxes, assemble empty

             boxes, palletize, shrink wrap, and keep area clean.  This is not an all-                       inclusive listing

   

Minimum Requirements:

• Team player.
• 1-3 years previous industrial assembly experience.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to visually detect small imperfections in product.
• Ability to read & write in English – legibly.
• Ability to work independently; ability to take direction; must train other employees when requested.

• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. repeatedly.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.  Ability to climb stairs throughout the shift.
• Ability & willingness to work all required overtime, including weekends.
• Ability & willingness to work on other shift(s), if required.
• PC Literate.
• Must be flexible to change shifts if business conditions require a transfer.
