Express Employment is seeking a Production Steel Laborer for a company in Sterling, IL!
Responsibilities of the Production Steel Laborer:
- Assemble and produce high-quality transformers according to specifications and production schedules
- Use hand tools and precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and quality
- Perform routine quality checks and support basic equipment maintenance
- Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean workspace
- Work collaboratively with team members and communicate production or safety issues
Requirements of the Production Steel Laborer:
- Manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
- Ability to read measurements, BOMs, and work instructions
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- High School Diploma or higher education
Compensation & Schedule details for the Production Steel Laborer:
- Full-Time
- Working 7:30am-3:30pm Monday -Friday
- $18.50/hour
