Licensed Benefits Account Representative – Employer Group Insurance
Location: Chicago, IL
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Compensation: $60,000–$65,000 annually
Work Type: In-Office with Hybrid Flexibility
A growing health insurance brokerage firm in Chicago is seeking a Licensed Benefits Account Representative to support employer group clients and deliver exceptional service across their benefits programs.
This is a highly interactive, client-facing role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and values building long-term client relationships. You will play a key role in guiding prospective clients through benefit options while also supporting existing clients throughout the lifecycle of their plans.
Key Responsibilities

Guide prospective clients through benefit options using the MetLife portal

Answer plan-related and general insurance questions during the enrollment process

Provide clear, accurate explanations of coverage, plan features, and benefits

Deliver responsive, high-quality service via phone and email

Support employer groups with:

Respond to billing inquiries and policy service requests

Serve as a trusted resource for ongoing benefits-related questions

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless onboarding and service experience
Qualifications

Active Life & Health Insurance License (Preferred)

Experience supporting employer-sponsored group benefits programs
