Manufacturing, Controller - $145,000 per year
Location: Glenview, IL
Job Type: Full-Time
A growing manufacturing company in Glenview is seeking an experienced Controller to lead accounting and finance operations. This role will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, cost accounting, inventory controls, cash flow, and internal controls while partnering with leadership to drive business performance.
Controller Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close and financial reporting
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow
- Lead cost accounting, inventory valuation, and variance analysis
- Maintain internal controls and compliance
- Coordinate audits and tax support
- Partner with operations on margins, inventory, and capital spending
- Supervise accounting staff and improve processes
Controller Qualifications
- CPA/CMA preferred
- 5+ years of accounting leadership experience
- 5+ Manufacturing experience required
- Strong cost accounting and ERP systems knowledge
- Strong leadership and communication skills
