Paralegal - Estate Planning
Location: Northbrook, IL
Pay: $28.84+ per hour DOE
Schedule: Full Time | Flexible Hours
We have partnered with a local law firm in Northbrook to hire an enthusiastic and motivated Estate Planning Paralegal. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced estate planning paralegal who thrives in a detail‑driven, client‑focused legal environment and takes pride in supporting attorneys while delivering exceptional service to clients.
Estate Planning Paralegal Key Responsibilities
- Draft estate planning documents to include--trusts, wills, powers of attorney for health care and property, and related documents
- Collect and organize financial and asset data
- Manage and maintain client files, both digital and physical, in accordance with firm policies
- Conduct legal and financial research as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise independent judgment
Estate Planning Paralegal Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an estate planning paralegal
- Paralegal certification is a plus or relevant work experience will be considered
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Smokeball experience is a plus
