A financial management firm in Barrington, IL is seeking a Client Associate to join their growing team. This role blends administrative precision with client-facing responsibilities in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Schedule: Onsite | Monday-Friday | 8:30a-4:30p
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support for one or more assigned financial advisor(s). Process all incoming business with follow-up to financial advisor and broker dealer or client as needed.
- Sorting, reading and annotating incoming mail and documents, ensuring all documents are complete prior to obtaining executive’s signature
- Manage meeting best practices, ensuring all meetings have a set agenda, materials are printed for attendees, and dial-in details are set up and confirmed.
- Set client financial review meetings based on client service level agreement & prepare follow up meetings based on needs
- Respond to client inquiries, processing new accounts, obtaining necessary account documents, resolving inquires.
- Conduct proactive outreach to clients and registered representatives on time sensitive activities (e.g., RMDs, Client’s Quarterly/Annual Reviews)
Qualifications:
- Two+ years of sales support experience in the financial services industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field preferred
- Series 7 & 66 (or 63 & 65) preferred or expected within 2 years
- Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and financial systems
- Must pass background and credit checks
- Knowledge of investment products and industry regulations required
