Job Full Description
We are seeking a Service Technician with a strong mechanical and electrical background to join a leading car wash service provider. This is a hands-on role with daily travel to customer sites around the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. If you have great customer service skills, enjoy troubleshooting, and are comfortable working independently, this may be the perfect fit for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, start up, maintain, and inspect car wash systems
- Perform chemical testing and deliver chemicals to locations
- Complete monthly checkups and service reports
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Drive to different client locations (daily travel required)
- Lift, move, and install equipment as needed
- Stand, bend, and work in various physical positions
- Participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule (after training)
- Assist with other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Strong mechanical and electrical/electronic aptitude
- Comfortable using computers and diagnostic tools
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Willingness to travel daily and work in the field
- Able to lift/move heavy equipment and perform physical tasks
