Batch Maker – Manufacturing
Location: Wheeling, IL
Pay: $17–$19/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
A manufacturing company in Wheeling, IL is looking for a Batch Maker to join their production team! This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in blending or mixing materials and an interest in chemical manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Use equipment to mix and blend batches of products (slurries and lubricants)
- Follow specific chemical formulations and instructions
- Package finished products for shipment
- Check materials and products against work orders for accuracy
- Perform basic equipment cleaning and routine maintenance
- Lift and move containers up to 50 lbs as needed
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Previous batch making or blending experience
- Preventative maintenance experience helpful
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing/warehouse environment
