Job Full Description
We’re hiring a skilled Maintenance Mechanic for a well-established manufacturing company in Wheeling, IL. This full-time, on-site role plays a critical part in keeping production equipment operating efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily equipment inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Conduct corrective, preventive, and routine maintenance
- Maintain and repair machinery, tools, and facility systems
- Document maintenance activities and communicate with production teams
- Support continuous improvement of maintenance procedures and processes
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
Qualifications:
- Experience in the plastics industry highly preferred
- Strong background in equipment and industrial maintenance
- Skilled in corrective maintenance and repair techniques
- Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
