Customer Service Representative – Technical Manufacturing
Are you a customer service professional with experience in technical manufacturing or the power transmission industry? Do you enjoy solving problems, supporting customers with technical knowledge, and working in a fast-paced environment? If so, this role could be the perfect fit for you!
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00a-5:00p
Responsibilities:
- Be the first point of contact for customers — answer inquiries, process orders, and provide product support
- Enter and manage customer orders accurately in the ERP system (create production orders as needed)
- Confirm pricing, availability, and send order acknowledgements
- Build lasting customer relationships through clear and professional communication
- Troubleshoot product/service issues and recommend effective solutions
- Provide accurate product, warranty, and technical details to customers and sales reps
- Collaborate with sales and management teams, sharing customer insights and order data
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 5+ years of customer service experience (ideally in power transmission or technical manufacturing)
- Knowledge of bearings or related technical products
- Proficiency with ERP/CRM systems (Acumatica experience highly valued)
- Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office and internet research tools
