Job Full Description
Growing, successful manufacturing company in Wheeling is looking for a dependable Inside Sales Trainee/Shipping & Receiving Associate. This is a Direct-Hire opportunity with a team that values stability, reliability, and long-term growth.
You’ll start by supporting day-to-day warehouse operations—receiving, picking, packing, inventory control—and take on entry-level inside sales responsibilities as time allows. It’s a great fit for someone who enjoys hands-on work and also likes (and is good at) customer support.
Responsibilities:
Warehouse Support -
- Receive and process incoming shipments
- Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders
- Maintain inventory accuracy and organize stock
- Assist with physical inventory counts
Inside Sales -
- Support customers with product questions, quotes, and order updates
- Learn the company’s product lines and become a go-to resource
- Handle incoming calls and emails with quick, accurate follow-through
- Coordinate closely with the sales team to support customer needs
Requirements:
- 3+ years of recent, stable shipping/receiving experience
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and stay on your feet
- Solid computer skills (UPS software experience is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and solid organizational habits
