Dispatcher/Customer Service Representative
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Type: Temp to Hire
Pay: $15–$18/hr

A transportation company in Palatine is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Dispatcher/Customer Service Representative to support their busy morning operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others, stays calm under pressure, and likes a role with consistent routine.
Responsibilities:
- Handle 50–60 inbound calls per hour with professionalism and accuracy
- Dispatch drivers using Google Maps and route details to pick up students and transport them to school
- Communicate clearly with drivers, parents, and internal staff
- Respond to emails and complete basic computer tasks
- Maintain accurate information and documentation throughout the day
- Work closely with the team to ensure timely and safe transportation services
What We’re Looking For:
- REQUIRED ability to start promptly at 6:00 AM (or as assigned)
- Strong and confident phone presence
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills (email, Google Maps, simple data entry)
- Previous dispatching experience a plus
