Express Employment Professionals is seeking motivated and reliable candidates for a 3rd Shift Production Operator position with a well-established manufacturer in the vacuum impregnation industry. This is an evaluation hire opportunity, meaning you will have the chance to earn a long-term role with the company based on performance and attendance.
Job Summary:
As a Production Operator on the 3rd shift, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment used in the production process. You will help ensure that products meet quality and safety standards while supporting overall production goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate production machinery in accordance with safety and operational guidelines

Perform setup, basic troubleshooting, and routine maintenance on equipment
-
Handle and move raw materials and finished goods as needed
-
Inspect products for quality assurance and record production data
-
Work as part of a team to meet daily production targets

Follow all workplace safety standards and procedures
-
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
-
High school diploma or GED
-
Minimum of 3 months of experience in a production or manufacturing environment

Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and stand for extended periods
-
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment
-
Strong attention to detail and good communication skills

Willingness to work overtime or weekends if required

Basic computer or data entry experience is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience with industrial equipment or automated production systems
-
Forklift experience or certification
-
Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices is a plus
