Job Full Description
Express Employment has a great new client in Muncie area that is looking for Production Labor & Material Handlers.
Previous Material Handling and/or Manufacturing experience is required.
Candidates must also be able to show longevity at previous jobs.
Job Duties may include:
- Maintain area operating procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively in order to coordinate with Production Manager
- Read work orders to determine production specifications or information
- Mix or blend ingredients by starting machines and mixing for specified times
- Dump or pour specified amounts of materials into machinery or equipment
- Collect samples of materials or products
- Prepare products for shipment
- Operate forklift
This will be a physically demanding position that could require regular lifting, pulling, and carrying 50lbs throughout the shift.
This is a long-term evaluation hire (temp-to-hire) position for someone ready to try something new. I promise, you've never done anything quite like this before.
