Job Overview
A local manufacturing company is seeking a Sand Mold Operator to support foundry and casting operations. This position is responsible for preparing sand molds, operating molding equipment, and ensuring molds meet quality and production standards. This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a production environment and take pride in precision and consistency.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble sand molds according to work instructions and specifications

Operate sand molding and related production equipment

Inspect molds for defects and ensure quality standards are met

Maintain proper sand consistency and mold integrity

Follow production schedules and meet daily output goals

Perform basic equipment adjustments and routine maintenance

Maintain a clean and safe work area

Follow all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications

Manufacturing or foundry experience preferred, but not required

Ability to work in a hot, dusty, and physically demanding environment

Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs

Strong attention to detail and quality
