Wood Finishing Worker
Shift: 7a-3:30p Mon-Fri
Pay: $15/hr
Where: Daleville
Evaluation Hire
Duties:
- Surface Preparation: Sand, fill, and smooth wood surfaces to prepare them for finishing.
- Staining & Coating: Apply stains, sealers, paints, and clear coats using spray guns, brushes, and wiping techniques.
- Equipment & Material Handling: Maintain and clean finishing tools, spray booths, and workspaces; properly handle and store finishing materials and chemicals.
- Custom Color Matching: Mix and match stains and finishes to achieve custom colors as per project specifications.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in wood finishing, preferably in architectural millwork, cabinetry, or furniture is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to match colors and achieve high-quality finishes.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Outstanding attendance record
