Pay: $30/hr+ plus a $2.00/hr shift differential Location: Elkhart, IN
Maintain, repair, and upgrade electronic and computer control systems on plant production equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical issues quickly and provide corrective-action solutions.
Install and retrofit AC and DC motor controls and drives.
Read, modify, and create electrical schematics and control wiring diagrams.
Support PLC-controlled systems and ensure programming is updated and backed up.
Participate in preventative maintenance work to reduce downtime and optimize machine performance.
Support ongoing automation and control systems improvements.
Report and communicate electrical/mechanical concerns to the Maintenance Manager.
Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work at various heights throughout shift.
Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Work in environments with temperature changes and typical industrial noise levels.
Strong electrical/electronic troubleshooting ability.
Ability to read, modify, and create electrical schematics.
Understanding of AC/DC drives, controllers, and PLC logic.
Computer literacy for system software upgrades and backups.
Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math.
4+ years in electronic maintenance or industrial electrical/electronics.
2+ years in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Hands-on experience working with PLC-driven systems and motor drives.
