Traveling Maintenance Technician Direct Hire
Home location: Elkhart, IN
$25/hr+ Based on Experience
We are looking for a Traveling Maintenance Technician to help with equipment teardown, delivery, installation, and setup at customer locations across the U.S.
Job Duties:
- Pack, load, and secure sold equipment and machinery onto company trucks
- Travel to customer sites for delivery and installation
- Assist with unloading, setup, and installation of machinery
- Use hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical skills
- Perform basic maintenance and mechanical work as needed
- Help with industrial/machine painting when needed
- Work safely and professionally at customer locations
Schedule:
- Travel throughout the U.S.
- Typically home on weekends and between installs
Experience:
- Machine painting or industrial painting experience
- Equipment installation experience
- Able to lift, move, and secure equipment safely
- Reliable, professional, and comfortable traveling
Great fit for someone mechanically inclined who enjoys hands-on work, travel, and not being chained to the same shop floor every day.
