Job Full Description
Job Summary/Company Information: A fleet company on the South Side of Indianapolis is hiring a 1st Shift Diesel Technician/Mechanic to their team. Company is hiring immediately!
You will:
- Be sponsible for completing PMs, DOT inspections, and mechanical/diagnostic repairs independently (ensuring all work meets safety and compliance standards)
- Safely maneuver equipment
- Keep detailed, accurate service records

Schedule: M-F 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Requirements:
- Must have own tools
- Minimum 1 year experience in commercial or fleet operations OR completion of a technical diesel program
- Preferred: 3+ years of diesel experience in commercial/fleet environment
- Certifications are a plus (engine, transmission, etc.)
- Able to perform PM services and DOT inspections independently
- Must be capable of pulling trucks in/out with truck + trailer attached
- Safety-focused mindset is mandatory
- Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR required
