Human Resources Coordinator

 

*Up to $32/hr.

 

The HR Coordinator will support the daily operations of the Human Resources department, ensuring smooth and efficient business processes. This role involves a combination of administrative support, employee relations, and compliance tasks in a fast-paced industrial environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new hires.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS systems.

  • Coordinate employee orientation and training programs.

  • Address employee inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and benefits.

  • Complete incident reports, conduct investigations, & handle sensitive disciplinary issues.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies, including OSHA and other regulatory requirements.

  • Prepare reports related to headcount, turnover, absenteeism, and other HR metrics.

  • Assist with employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and company events.

  • Help manage time and attendance tracking and resolve related issues.

  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 1-3 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.

  • Familiarity with labor laws, EEO, OSHA standards, and HR best practices.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS software.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work independently.

Preferred Skills:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

  • Experience with systems like ADP, Workday, or Kronos.

  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
