Human Resources Coordinator
*Up to $32/hr.
The HR Coordinator will support the daily operations of the Human Resources department, ensuring smooth and efficient business processes. This role involves a combination of administrative support, employee relations, and compliance tasks in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new hires.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS systems.

Coordinate employee orientation and training programs.

Address employee inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Complete incident reports, conduct investigations, & handle sensitive disciplinary issues.

Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies, including OSHA and other regulatory requirements.

Prepare reports related to headcount, turnover, absenteeism, and other HR metrics.

Assist with employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and company events.

Help manage time and attendance tracking and resolve related issues.

Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion.
Qualifications:
-
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

1-3 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Strong organizational and administrative skills.

Familiarity with labor laws, EEO, OSHA standards, and HR best practices.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS software.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work independently.
Preferred Skills:
-
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Experience with systems like ADP, Workday, or Kronos.

HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
