Education/Experience:
Equivalent to completion of the twelfth school grade and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Methods, practices, materials, tools and equipment commonly used in the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment and instrumentation at a large facility complex.
- Methods, practices, materials, tools and equipment commonly used in building maintenance and repair activities.
- Occupational hazards and safety precautions required in the maintenance and repair of a large facility complex and facility physical structures.
- Inventory control.
- Mathematics applicable to determining job requirements.
- Work measurement methods and techniques.
- Scheduling techniques.
- Methods and techniques used in preparing cost estimates for materials and equipment.
- Computer program applications used to enter and extract maintenance and repair information.
- Experience with grain handling and packaging equipment/machinery preferred
Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common prints/schematics.
Math Ability:
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to physically perform the duties and to work in the environmental conditions required of a position in this class.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel; Microsoft explorer and Microsoft Outlook.
