Job Title: Line Operator
Shift: 2nd Shift – Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
Location: Monticello, IN
Department: [TBD]
Reports To: Group Leader / Production Supervisor / Manufacturing Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time, Hourly


Position Overview:

Support the production of products through downstream processing. The Line Operator plays a key role in maintaining efficient, high-quality production by operating designated machinery, performing assigned tasks, and ensuring a clean and organized work environment.


Schedule:

This is a 2nd shift position, working Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Comply with all safety requirements related to assigned machines and work areas

  • Communicate potential quality concerns to the Group Leader promptly

  • Perform tasks according to quality standards and per training provided

  • Operate designated machinery efficiently and safely

  • Maintain productivity by performing tasks quickly and accurately

  • Complete system transactions in PLEX, label containers, and move parts as required

  • Keep the work area clean and organized following 5S standards

  • Carry out additional duties as assigned or needed


Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required

  • Experience: No prior experience required – training will be provided

  • Specific Knowledge: None required


Physical Requirements:

  • Eyesight: High

  • Dexterity: High

  • Mobility: Medium

  • Lifting: Up to 40 lbs
