Job Full Description
Incoming Inspector 4
1st Shift
7am-3:30pm, with overtime required at times.
Overtime can include Saturdays as well, when needed.
Wage: $17.31/hr.
Key Responsibilities: Receive information as to 100% or sampling checks and types and models and/or incoming assignment from Leader; use print or specification book as reference for work. Verify accuracy of approval agency labeling. Verify product labeling, including electrical and NEMA housing ratings.
Skills Required: Requires print or spec reading with from twelve to eighteen months to attain proficiency on variety assignments. Move from station to station for work assigned.
Some dexterity is necessary as to set and make repairs to units.
Experience Required: Must have a good working knowledge in using prints, instruments, and gages. Know engineering requirements and simple sampling techniques. Must be experienced in a variety of product lines.
