Job Title: Electric Technician
Location: Remington
Starting Pay: $24/hour
Position Objective:
Assist senior electrical technicians in maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems within a manufacturing environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; vocational training preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of PLCs and electronics calibration a plus.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and work independently.
- Must have reliable attendance and be available for overtime and rotating shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Follow safety protocols and maintain organized work areas.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance and line checks.
- Train and mentor junior technicians.
- Complete required paperwork and use AS400 to order parts.
- Adhere to ISO 9001 standards and meet department goals.
- Attend safety meetings and training sessions.
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing setting with varying temperatures and loud noise.
