Material Handler – Trailer Manufacturing
Position Summary
We're looking for a dependable Material Handler to support production in a trailer manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for moving, organizing, and supplying materials to production areas while maintaining a safe and efficient workflow.
Job Duties

Move raw materials, parts, components, and finished products throughout the facility.

Supply production workstations with the materials needed to keep assembly lines running.

Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, racks, and storage areas.

Use carts, pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material-handling equipment as assigned.

Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas.

Verify materials against work orders, labels, or production requirements.

Inspect materials for damage and report shortages or discrepancies.

Stage components and parts for upcoming production jobs.

Assist with loading and preparing completed trailers or components for shipment.

Maintain accurate inventory and material movement records as required.

Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.

Follow all company safety procedures and required PPE guidelines.

Assist production and warehouse teams with other tasks as needed.
Qualifications
-
Previous warehouse, manufacturing, material handling, or construction experience preferred.

Forklift experience is a plus.

Ability to safely operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and move materials throughout the workday.

Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.

Ability to safely handle heavy or bulky materials.

Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment around noise, equipment, and varying temperatures.
