Entry-Level Maintenance Technician
Location: South Bend, IN
Pay: $20.00-$25.00/hour DOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM-3:30 PM
Possible Saturdays as needed
We are seeking an Entry-Level Maintenance Technician to assist with facility, grounds, and general maintenance while training alongside experienced maintenance technicians.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined and wants to build a career in industrial maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic facility and grounds maintenance
- Assist with general repairs and maintenance projects
- Help experienced technicians with equipment repairs
- Assist with preventive maintenance
- Use basic hand and power tools
- Help troubleshoot basic mechanical issues
- Maintain clean and safe work areas
- Learn industrial equipment and maintenance procedures through hands-on training
Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Previous maintenance, construction, mechanical, or hands-on experience preferred
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
