Experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician
Location: South Bend, IN
Pay: $25.00-$30.00+/hour DOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM-3:30 PM
Possible Saturdays as needed
A South Bend manufacturer is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery
- Diagnose electrical issues from single-phase through 3-phase/480V
- Repair and maintain conveyor systems
- Troubleshoot motors, clutches, and mechanical components
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and reduce production downtime
- Use mills and lathes for repair or maintenance work as needed
- Assist with general facility maintenance when required
- Follow lockout/tagout and established safety procedures
Required Experience
- 480V and 3-phase electrical troubleshooting
- Conveyor system maintenance and repair
- Motor and clutch experience
- Mill and lathe experience
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability
- Previous industrial maintenance experience
Preferred Experience
- Forklift repair experience with Clark, Nissan, JLG, or Toyota equipment
- Die cutter maintenance or repair
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
