Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of industrial equipment, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, and performing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical systems, including pumps, motors, compressors, and control systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain and repair heating equipment, including furnaces and burners.
- Work closely with production staff to minimize equipment downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and controls.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Education & Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance, mechanical technology, or a related field preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
- Capability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in varying conditions, including exposure to heat, noise, and confined spaces.
