Assembly Worker – Now Hiring!
Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm
A manufacturing company in Rome City, IN is seeking Assembly Workers to join their team. This is a first-shift opportunity with a stable schedule and potential for growth.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assemble wire harnesses, cables, and light mechanical products according to instructions
- Inspect and test finished products for quality assurance
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
- Maintain an organized and clean work area
- Follow company safety and quality procedures
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals
Physical Requirements:
- Mostly a sitting position with occasional standing and movement
- Repetitive hand and arm movements
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs when necessary
Equipment Used:
- Hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, wire cutters)
- Power tools (drills, soldering irons)
- Wire crimping and stripping machines
- Measuring tools (calipers, tape measures)
Skills & Experience:
- Ability to read and follow work instructions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools
- Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- No prior experience required, but previous assembly or manufacturing experience is a plus
