We are recruiting on behalf of a large, growing local company seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician. This position is ideal for a mechanically inclined individual who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing, fabricating, and working with their hands in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Safely use a variety of hand and power tools.
- Build, assemble, modify, and repair hand carts and material handling equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Work with production and operations teams to minimize downtime.
- Complete work orders and document repairs as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a maintenance, mechanical repair, or industrial maintenance position required.
- Strong knowledge and experience using hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Experience fabricating, assembling, or repairing hand carts, racks, or similar equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, dependable, and detail-oriented.
