Quality Technician – Manufacturing
Looking for a quality professional who knows their way around prints, precision measuring tools, and a manufacturing floor. This is a long-term opportunity with steady first-shift hours and room to grow within the quality side of the operation.
Location: Kendallville, IN
Pay: $18–$20/hr
Schedule: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, with some flexibility based on production
Employment Type: Full-Time | Evaluation-to-Hire
What You'll Be Doing
- Perform in-process and final inspections on manufactured components
- Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision measuring equipment
- Read blueprints, specifications, and GD&T requirements
- Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate quality documentation
- Work with production to identify and address quality concerns
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on manufacturing quality or inspection experience
- Comfortable reading prints and working with dimensional tolerances
- Able to confidently use common precision measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills
- Basic computer skills
