Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a company in Boone, IA that's seeking an additional Machine Operator to join their team! The main responsibility of this associate will be to operate machines throughout the warehouse
This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with a pay rate starting at $17/hr, dependent on experience. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of prior machine operating experience.
Environment:
- This is a 1st shift schedule, Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
- Casual clothes are preferred, steel toed boots are REQUIRED.
- In this manufacturing environment, you will work as a team to ensure quality products are provided for consumers
Job Duties:
- Attending to/operating machines that shape and create company product
- Performing quality checks to ensure product is free of any deficiencies
- Weighing and packaging product; boxing, labeling, sealing
- Stacking boxes on pallets, occasional heavy lifting
Skills/Experience Needed:
- Must be willing to stand for long periods of time
- Must have prior hands on operating experience
- Have to be comfortable with strong smelling odors and fiberglass
